Several New Surfactants

Three different varieties of surface active agents ("surfactants") are proposed for preparation and investigation :

1. Phthalic anhydride condensation products with linear fatty alcohols , amines , and alpha olefins ;

2. Acyl gemini quaternary ammonium salts ;

3. Fatty alcohol and amine xanthates .
